When he meets Russell Collins (Julian Dennison), a young mutant with incredible powers who is being abused by staff at the orphanage where he lives, Deadpool's violent response has dangerous consequences for them both. Meanwhile, Cable (Josh Brolin), a cybernetic soldier with the ability to time-travel, is hunting Russell and so Deadpool forms a team of mutants called X-Force to help him to protect the boy and thwart Cable's plans.
