An ABC Sports crew led by Roone Arledge (Sarsgaard), Geoffrey Mason (Magaro) and Marvin Bader (Ben Chaplin) are in Germany covering the event, working with local translator Marianne Gebhardt (Leonie Benesch). After hearing gunshots one night, they learn that a terrorist attack is underway and a group of Israeli athletes and coaches have been taken hostage.
