Alphaville: Salvation (Deluxe/Ltd/Rem)

Salvation, released on September 1, 1997, marked ALPHAVILLE's fifth studio album and signaled a new phase in their musical journey, as it was the first ALPHAVILLE album without Ricky Echolette and the last to feature Bernhard Lloyd, who left the band in 2003. The album spawned the singles "Wishful Thinking" and "Flame." It was produced by Andy Richards and, unlike its predecessors, was recorded mainly in London, at Eden Studios, with further recordings taking place at Metropolis Studios and Stone Room Studios. The mixing also took place at these three studios, plus at Nucleus recording studio. The 2 LP Black Vinyl contains the original album (remastered) on side A, side B features 4 remixes.
