In the midst of nature

Björn Larsson's photographs are based on a collection of naturalistic dioramas in museums in Upsala and Stockholm, Sweden, and Abo, Finland, that were created by Gustaf Kolthoff. These were designed in order to observe an artificially constructed 'nature' and located in a purpose designed museum.
